Retention Ponds under JORR W2 Meruya Selatan Toll Road will Be Widened Soon

The West Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency will soon widen the retention ponds, locally known as kolam olakan on the west and east sides under the JORR W2 Meruya Selatan Toll Road, Kembangan.

Flood Control Facility Management Division Head, Wira Yudha Bhakti said, together with PT Marga Lingkar Jakarta (MLJ), his party monitored the project site.

"The retention pond is made to overcome inundation when it rains with high intensity," he expressed, Wednesday (2/2).

Under the toll road, PT MLJ had built three ponds, including three mobile pumps with 300 liters per second capacity and one mobile pump with 400 liters per second capacity.

"On the west side, there is already a pond that will be widened. Talk about the width and depth, we will discuss it further," he stated.
